APG is the home of the Vampire Riot cinematic universe, created to push the boundaries of narrative-driven music and digital artistry. We aim to redefine how music is shared and experienced, blending nearly three decades of rock-and-roll tradition with the limitless potential of modern technology.
My Approach
For the past 26 years, music has been the constant thread in my life. Having spent decades playing in local venues and performing alongside some great musicians, I have developed a deep respect for the craft of songwriting and the dedication required to build a band from the ground up. Being part of the local music scene—currently as a member of Almost Famous—has given me a front-row seat to the challenges and joys of being an working artist.
My vision for Vampire Riot was born from a simple question: How can we tell a deeper story with our music?
I have always been a fan of transmedia storytelling—the way a great film franchise can build a world that stays with you long after the credits roll. I wanted to see if we could bridge that gap between music and narrative. I began writing, eventually completing over 100 songs, looking to craft a sound that felt modern yet grounded in the classic, high-energy rock traditions I love.
The project truly found its form when I started experimenting with new generative tools like Artificial Intelligence. I realized that these technologies offered a unique "paintbrush"—a way to audiolize and visualize the band’s identity, create cinematic moments, and build a cohesive, believable world around the music. Rather than just releasing singles into the void - by a 46-year old man pretending to be a rock star - I saw an opportunity to build a "cinematic music universe."
By launching Audio Paradigm Group, I’ve created a space to house this project, allowing the story of Vampire Riot—Dylan, Charlie, Wyatt, and Jack—to unfold in real-time. My goal is to invite the audience into this narrative, letting them experience the band's journey as if they were a real-world act, navigating their own rise, history, and creative path.
Vampire Riot is a culmination of everything I’ve learned as a songwriter and a storyteller. It’s an exploration of what happens when you combine traditional songcraft with the immersive possibilities of modern technology. I’m thrilled to share this journey with you.
Welcome to the Riot.
